Burger King Launches Week-Long Breakfast Promotion to Ease Daylight Saving Time Transition

The fast-food chain is offering Royal Perks members daily breakfast giveaways from March 8-14, requiring only a minimum purchase to claim various morning menu items.

When the clocks spring forward for Daylight Saving Time, many people struggle with the schedule disruption and increased morning hunger. Burger King has recognized this annual challenge and responded with a strategic week-long breakfast promotion designed to help customers navigate the time change more comfortably.

The promotion operates through the restaurant’s Royal Perks loyalty program, exclusively available via mobile app and online ordering. Members can access a different complimentary breakfast item each day by making a qualifying purchase of at least three dollars.

Daily Breakfast Offerings Throughout the Week

The promotional schedule begins on March 8 with a complimentary Breakfast Burrito Jr. The following day features a free Croissan’wich, while March 10 caters to caffeine enthusiasts with a medium iced coffee at no additional charge.

Mid-week offerings include five-piece French Toast Sticks on March 11, followed by large hash browns on March 12. March 13 presents a Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit as the featured freebie.

Coffee lovers receive additional benefits throughout the promotional period, with small hot coffee available for 150 Crowns instead of the standard 200 Crown redemption rate.

Special Pi Day and St. Patrick’s Day Promotions

The breakfast week concludes on March 14, coinciding with Pi Day, where the promotion shifts toward dessert options. Royal Perks members can obtain either a Hershey’s Sundae Pie or Cinnamon Apple Pie with a purchase of $3.14 or more, cleverly incorporating the mathematical constant into the minimum spending requirement.

Extending beyond the breakfast week, Burger King has scheduled an additional St. Patrick’s Day promotion on March 17. On this date, loyalty program members can purchase large onion rings for just two dollars.

This comprehensive promotional strategy demonstrates how restaurants can leverage seasonal transitions and cultural holidays to drive customer engagement while providing genuine value during potentially challenging periods like time changes.
